Collection: Encaustic Wax Monotypes - Original Works On Paper

Encaustic wax monotypes are created by melting giant beeswax crayons on a hot plate, designed using a variety of tools. The design is then "lifted" off the plate with Japanese rice paper, and then popped into a mat-board and cellophane sleeve.

Each piece is a unique design on paper, abstract and colorful and sure to brighten up any room. Simply pop into a frame and Voila, instant vibrancy!

The work is signed by the artist and ships (FREE in the US and Canada) in a cardboard mailer envelope, The pieces are easy to frame - as “prints” - although each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.
